烘焙坊@Delight Pizza




Guess, what is this ? Sure, everyone must be know of this food. It's .... PIZZA ! Yeay... Perhaps, most of us like it very much? =P

" According to Wikipedia, pizza is an oven-baked flat bread usually topped with a tomato sauce, cheese and various toppings. The modern pizza was invented in Naples, Italy, and the dish has since become popular in many parts of the world. "

In Malaysia, there is a lot of pizza selling store in these fast-paced life. For example, Pizza Hut, Domino's Pizza, Papa John's Pizza and etc. As we all know, pizza is considered as one of the fast food category. This means that it takes into the consideration of unhealthy food. This might due to the oil and ingredients being used. However, today, I would like to introduce my Home Baking Delight Pizza that is so delicious yet healthy as it can compared to those selling outside. 

Ingredients:



<A> Pizza Dough
(1) 250g                    Plain Flour
(2) 1 & 1/2 teaspoon  Instant Yeast (Mauripan choice)
(3) 2 tablespoons        Margarine
(4) 1/4 teaspoon        Salt
(5) 2 tablespoons        Sugar
(6) 150mL                  Water (It depends) 

<B> Pizza Fillings
(1) Cabbage (chopped)
(2) Cherry Tomatoes (cut into halves)
(3) Capsicum/Bell peppers (sliced)
(4) Carrot (Sliced)
(5) Chilli Sauce
(6) 1 tin of Ayam Brand Tunamagik Classic
(7) Cheese ! (I use Chesdale, grated cheese)
     
Methods:
(1) In a small bowl, use warm water to mix the yeast together, left aside.
(2) Mix the plain flour, yeast (1), margarine, salt, sugar and water together. Knead the dough until it becomes smooth.
(3) Cover the dough in the bowl with plastic wrap or use a table cloth. Set it aside for ~30 - 45 min.
(4) Take the dough out and knead a while. 
(5) In a square pan, rub the pan with butter. Then, shape the dough in the pan.
(6) Brush the surface of the dough with chilli sauce. 
(7) Cover the dough with chopped cabbage, Ayam Brand Tunamagik, sliced carrot, sliced capsicum/bell pepper, cut cherry tomotoes and the grated Chesdale Cheese for topping.
(8) Bake the pizza in 180 degree Celcius, ~ 30min.
(9) Serve it hot !

烘焙坊@Peanut Butter Brownies

                      

Brownies ... What is brownies? According to Wikipedia, Brownies is a flat, baked square or bar developed in United States at the end of the 19th century and popularized in both U.S and Canada during the first half of the 20th century. The brownie is a cross between a cake and a cookies in texture. Brownies come in a variety of forms. They are either fudgy or cakey, depending on their density, and they may include nuts, frosting, whipped cream, chocolate chips, or other ingredients. 

Usually the recipe calls for this brownies is a chocolate brownies. Today, I made a bit difference that my recipe is a Peanut Butter BrowniesThis is my first time baking this peanut butter brownies. Surprised ?



Ingredients:




(1) 100 - 120g     Peanut Butter ( I used Lady Choice Crunchy Peanut Butter )
(2) 50g              Margarine
(3) 50g              Sugar
(4) 100g            Brown Sugar
(5) 3                 Eggs
(6) 1 & 3/4 cups Self Raising Flour
(7) 1/4 tsp         Salt
(8)                    Chocolate rice (decoration)

Methods:
(1) Preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius.
(2) In a mixing bowl, mix the peanut butter, margarine, sugar & brown sugar. Beat the mixture until it is soft & white.
(3) Then, add the eggs (1 egg with another egg). Add together with the salt.
(4) After adding the eggs, add the self raising flour (sifted) little by little and mix. 
(5) After mixing completely, pour the batter upon the square tray (lined with butter).
(6) Bake at 175 degree Celsius for around 30-35 min.
(7) Ready to be served !

厨房忙@Cendol Jelly Mooncake



Happy Mooncake Festival ! or we called it as " Happy Mid-Autumn Festival " @ " 中秋节快乐 ! "

I am sharing with you my Cendol Jelly Mooncake. I used the mashed carrot as the egg yolks, the bottom layer is the gula melaka ( but i used brown sugar ) and the top layer is the cendol filling. It turns out to be a superb nice mooncake !

No flavoring, No coloring, No Preservatives ! My family enjoys eating them as a dessert. It is so refreshing, especially when it is chilled.

 Yes, my Cendol Jelly Mooncake ! Yummy ~





Ingredients:


For Jelly Egg Yolks:
Agar-agar powder - 1 tsp
Sugar                    - 40g
Salt                       - 1/8 tsp
Water                   - 150mL
Carrots                 - 100 - 150g

Methods:
(1) Bring the chopped carrots to boil in a pot until carrots become cooked, ~ 20 min.
(2) Use a blender,  blend the cooked carrot.
(3) In a pot, combine the blended carrots, agar-agar powder, sugar, salt and water to boil. 
(4) Stirring the mixture with a hand whisk or just use a spoon until boil on a medium fire. 
(5) Once the mixture starts to bubble, turn the heat and pour into a shaped-mould.
(6) Let them set and refrigerate for ~20-30 min before removing them from the mould.



For Cendol layer:
Agar-agar powder     - 1 tsp
Sugar                        - 100 g
Salt                           - 1/8 tsp
Thick Coconut Milk  - 150mL
Water                       - 375mL
Cendol                     - 250g

Methods:
(1) In a pot, bring the water, sugar, salt and agar powder to the boil.
(2) Then, add in the thick coconut milk and cendol. Stir to blend well.
(3) Pour 1/2 cm layer of this mixture into each mould.
(4) Allow to cool until almost set, then place a piece of the carrot egg yolks in the centre of the mould.
(5) Let it set completely  for 30 min before pouring the gula Melaka layer. 


For Gula Melaka layer:
Agar-agar powder                - 2 tsp
Gula Melaka ( brown sugar ) - 100g
Salt                                       - 1/4 tsp
Thick coconut milk                - 150 mL
Water                                   - 150mL
Pandan leaves                       - knotted

Methods:
(1) In a pot, bring the water, pandan leaves, gula melaka ( brown sugar), salt and agar powder to the boil.
(2) Then, add in the thick coconut milk. Stir to blend well.
(3) Pour this mixture full into each mould after the cendol layer.
(4) Allow to set completely adn keep the jelly in the refrigerator until it is ready to serve !

Yeah, Cendol Jelly Mooncake is done ! =)

I finally created my own Home Baking Blog ! Woohoo !!!

At here, I will share my own recipe of Home Baking for you. All ingredients that I used in my Home Baking are totally natural, No Preservative ! No Additive ! No Food Coloring ! Furthermore, if you go through my recipes, you will discover that:

(1) the ingredients are simple
(2) the methods are easiest 


Through this, I hope my baking brings you to a surprise, the baking products taste good, delicious and even healthier that you can easily prepare them on your own and enjoy them without worrying.
